Focus Areas in Ophthalmology
Cataract Surgery
The most common and successful procedure we perform. We use advanced Oertli Phaco Machines (Swiss) and utilize the ZEISS IOL Master 700 for precise pre-operative measurements, ensuring an accurate customized Intraocular Lens (IOL) implant and the best visual outcome.
LASIK Refractive Surgery
Freedom from glasses and contact lenses. Our procedures correct common vision problems like myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism, giving you permanent clarity with minimal downtime.
Glaucoma Diagnosis & Management
We focus on early detection and meticulous management of this "silent thief of sight." Diagnosis is done using the ZEISS CIRRUS OCT and the gold-standard Humphrey Perimetry to monitor peripheral vision and prevent irreversible damage.
Cornea Diagnosis & Treatment
Specialized care for diseases affecting the front surface of the eye. Our Gold Medalist specialist, Dr. Darshna Bagtharia, provides advanced diagnosis and treatment for conditions like corneal infections and Corneal Transplantation planning.
Retina Diagnosis & Treatment
Comprehensive care for the back of the eye. Diagnosis is powered by the ZEISS CIRRUS OCT and Fundus Photography (ZEISS 224). Our visiting expert, Dr. Bharg Karia, specializes in treating conditions like diabetic retinopathy and retinal tears.
Pterygium Surgery
Safe and effective removal of Pterygium (surfer's eye). We perform these surgeries with careful technique to reduce recurrence and achieve excellent cosmetic results.

Choose the right cataract treatment with expert guidance and advanced surgical technology.
Micro-Incision Cataract Surgery (MICS)
Modern, Safe & Fast-Recovery Technique
Micro-Incision Cataract Surgery (MICS) is an advanced technique that uses extremely small incisions—typically less than 2 mm—to remove the cataract and implant a clear artificial lens.
Because the cuts are tiny, there is minimal disturbance to the eye tissues, resulting in:
Faster healing
Reduced redness & irritation
Lower risk of infection
Better vision stability
No need for stitches
Quick return to daily activities
This technique offers excellent results, especially for patients wanting a safer, quicker, and more comfortable surgery experience.
Conventional Cataract Surgery
Reliable & Widely Used Technique
Conventional cataract surgery involves a slightly larger incision (around 5–6 mm) to remove the cloudy lens manually and place the new intraocular lens.
Although it is a time-tested method and works well for many cases, it typically involves:
Slightly longer healing time
Chance of temporary swelling
Possibility of needing stitches
Longer visual recovery
This technique is still preferred in certain complex cataract cases where more manual control is needed.
